Homestead's Process
Our goal is to assist you through each step of your project. By filling out some basic details you can help expedite the design process since any information that you can provide will help our design staff find solutions to your needs.
Please print and fill out the Quick Forms appropriate for your project and bring them in to our showroom where we can go over details and provide you with a quotation.
Wish List
Make a list of all the things you wish to accomplish with your project. After you have created your list, try to categorize all items into three categories:
Without this feature the whole project will be on hold
Will compromise to an alternative solution
Would be nice, but can do without
Here is our Wish List Form.
Budget
Your budget is a target that needs to be considered while accommodating your wish list. Set an “ideal” and a “maximum” budget to help our design team guide you in finding a design solution that meets or beats your budget while fulfilling your wish list. If we see that the money budgeted is being spent without meeting all the items on your wish list, we can discuss design compromises that can keep your project within budget.
One of the standard concerns regarding budget is what the payback on your project would be if you were to sell your house. According to the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s 2014 Home Renovation Survey, the following renovation projects provide the highest payback potential for homeowners:
1. bathroom renovations
2. kitchen renovations
3. painting – interior and exterior
