About ordering Piece Lengths (Click here)

We give you the 3 ways to determine the size of the pieces in your order. Only one option can be selected. The selectable options available depend on the wood species selected and are determined by what length we can get from our suppliers. Option #1: eg. "Any piece length 6' to 16' (Default for this species)" is the most economical choice and means your pieces will be as long as possible but shorter pieces we receive can be included in your order (but not shorter than 6'). Option #2: eg. "Pieces 6' to 9'" are less economical because not all pieces from our supplier come in this range, which creates more waste. Option #3: eg "Piece 10' fixed length (premium cost)" creates greater waste as we often have to cut down longer pieces received from our supplier, which creates a higher waste factor. Want to order a variety of piece lengths? Just order this profile again as an additional item to your cart with the quantity and pieces sizes for your additional requirement.

About customizing thickness and width (Click here)

The thickness and width of most profiles can be cut to different thicknesses and/or widths other than STANDARD however the profiled portion does not change. In the sample profile below the thickness could be set to custom 1" and the width could be set to custom 6", however the profiled section on the 6" moulding will remain 2 13/16. Customizing gives you the flexibility to use a profile like this as a casing eg. (4" x 1") and a baseboard eg.(6" x 7/8)".
