History of Homestead Woodworks

Homestead Woodworks was founded in 1987, and since its inception has been located in the small village of Hawkesville, Ontario. The company has evolved over the years from only a few employees working in a 3,000 square foot shop to a much larger team of employees with a 27,000 square foot facility.

Homestead became its own corporation in 2005, but remains part of a group of companies. Country Lane Builders and Homestead Woodworks is owned by the Martin brothers, Murray, Tim, Clare and Gerald Martin. Clare Martin is the general manager of Homestead Woodworks Inc.
