Consider pull-down or pull-out racks for higher shelves.

In framed cabinets, the cabinet doors are attached to the face frame. The doors may partially or fully overlay the face frame, or they may be inset within the frame, depending on the design.  Framed inset doors can sometimes have a small bead detail around the frame for added interest.  Framed cabinets often have a more traditional or classic appearance.

Unlike framed cabinets, frameless cabinets do not have a face frame at the front. The cabinet doors are attached directly to the sides of the cabinet box.  Frameless cabinets often feature full overlay doors, meaning the doors cover the entire front of the cabinet box. This creates a seamless, modern look.

Styles include Traditional, Transitional, Contemporary or something unique.

Traditional style cabinets often have a shaker style door and some degree of detail in the crown and moldings and in the overall design.

Transitional style cabinets have modified Shaker doors (eg. a narrow or wide rail) or flat style door vs a shaker but maintain some of the traditional details in the design.

Contemporary style cabinets have flat style doors, and the design emphasizes a clean and continuous look.  A modern look can be achieved by adding for example:  high gloss doors.

Shaker cabinet doors come in a wide variety of designs.  Flat panel doors give a more transitional or contemporary feel.

Finishes include stained or painted with interesting options like glaze or distressed textures.  Melamine textured finishes are also available for flat syle doors.  For that unique look we carry a designer line of doors.

Cabinets with wood doors include commonly known species such as Walnut or Oak.   Wood grains can be set to run vertically, which is more traditional.  Wood grains can be set to run horizontally which gives a more transitional or contemporary feel.  Often quarter sawn or rift cut wood grains are chosen on flat style doors to give an interesting linear feel. 

Construction methods include several choices for the cabinets box.  Birch ply is common along with white melamine.  Doors are machined to the highest standard to ensure a perfect fit.  Soft close slides and hinges make the cabinets a pleasure to use.
